The Events Calendar is a great way of finding out about reading- and library-related events taking place across the area and sometimes beyond.
It's a great way of raising awareness of authors, poets, storytellers etc who are in the area, as well as promoting other events.
You might have an author visit planned, for example, and want a neighbouring school to help share travel and accommodation costs. Adding your event here publicizes it to others who can then get in touch.
