Branch Course: Nikki Heath: Movers and Shakers
Nikki Heath, Friday 28 June 2013
Nikki Heath is currently the school librarian at Werneth School in Stockport. She has always been an avid reader and has wanted to be a school librarian since she was 10 years old, and whilst she is swiftly crumbling on the outside, still feels 10 on the inside! Nikki will share with us strategies they have used at Werneth to inspire their students and to encourage whole school enjoyment of reading, inspiring us in turn to consider ways in which we can build on our own strategies. She will also give an insight into the SLYA process and the impact it has made for her.
